For starters, put your hand under the lens – not on top. When you hand is on top of the lens you can introduce motion because your hand is resting on the lens. With your hand underneath the lens, your hand helps balance the lens.
Bring your elbows down and hold your arms close to your body.
Maintain a firm grip on the camera body. You’re holding an important and expensive piece of equipment in your your hands. The last thing you want is to let it slip out of your hand and crash to the ground.
So take a deep breath, check your form, and shoot your best shot.
