People garden for lots of reasons – to grow food to eat, to reconnect with nature, to teach kids where food comes from, to take a stand against big food companies/big agriculture, to get exercise, to reduce stress and so many more great reasons that I won’t list here. Do you want to know why I garden?
I garden because I love to see how things grow.
I find it fascinating to see how we can work with nature to grow the most magnificent things from a tiny seed. And generally, when people find something amazing, something that impacts their life in a big way, they want to tell the world about it. That’s why I shoot plants – to capture the beauty and wonder of gardening and to share it with others.
plant + shoot is a compilation of images I’ve captured along my garden path that I hope will help you see how things grow as you dig deeper into your garden.
